Employment Type:Full timeShift:Description:POSITION PURPOSE: The Adult Outpatient Assessment Therapist provides biopsychosocial assessments for clients seeking mental health, substance use or co-occurring disorder treatment. The role requires the clinician to be able to work independently and have the critical thinking skillset to assess an individual for appropriateness to an array of services we offer. The Assessment Therapist will assess clients, determine a course of treatment, and design an initial treatment plan for clients while providing clinical interventions and resources. The Assessment Therapist may also carry a small caseload for individual therapy as applicable.WHAT YOU WILL DO: Complete biopsychosocial assessments to determine client’s strengths, needs, and diagnosis Provide psychotherapy to a small caseload as applicable Complete documentation within the electronic health record in congruence with organizational policies and regulatory requirements Engage with natural supports of the client to strategize methods of supporting client goal progress and wellbeing Collaborate with members of the treatment team, community members, and third-party providers Attend and participate in clinical, administrative, and community partner meetings Other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALILFICATIONS: Master’s in Human Services and 1 year of care delivery experience.
