Director of Clinical Prospect ManagementThe Division of Philanthropic & Alumni Engagement PAE at the University of Pittsburgh is dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships with donors, alumni, and stakeholders, supporting the Universitys mission in education, research, and healthcare. We invite you to become a pivotal part of our team as the Director of Clinical Prospect Management.In this role, you will serve as the integral part within PAEs Prospect Development, Clinical Fundraising department, reporting to the Senior Director of Prospect Development, Clinical Fundraising.Key responsibilities include:

Structure, maintain, build, and oversee clinical development officer portfolios, moves management, and pipeline management.

Advise supervisors and leadership on tracking development officer performance.

Develop and implement prospect management best practices.

Assist in the development and documentation of strategic initiatives for actively engaged individual prospects.

Oversee the deployment and effectiveness of the prospect management functionality within the Gate database.

Serve as PAE's expert on the use of the Gate database.

Train and advise development officers in prospect management processes.

Ensure clear, consistent, and accurate entry of outreach and activity in the Gate and Salesforce/Affinaquest.

Manage prospect management policies, processes, and procedures related to clinical fundraising.

Facilitate management report metrics and ensure business rules are followed for accurate reports and analytics.

Consult on, leverage, and train on Prospect Management analytics tools.

Provide reports, dashboards, and curated lists to individual fundraisers for portfolio management.

Hire and supervise Prospect Management team members.

Partner with Clinical fundraising staff to assist in cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding prospects at all levels. Preferred Qualifications:

3-5 years of prospect management experience.

Exceptional verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills.

Experience utilizing CRM systems.

Strong report-building background.

Project management experience in collaboration with colleagues at various levels.

Develops and implements major and principal gift policies, protocols, processes, workflows, and standards for donor prospect research projects. Manages proactive research tools, leads portfolio review meetings, coordinates fundraising activity, and provides quantitative and qualitative analysis of pipeline activity to drive strategic planning. Oversees the annual strategic business plan and budget for the unit.Essential Functions

Oversee prospect management policies, processes, and procedures relating to individual prospect records affiliated with clinical fundraising, facilitating management report metrics and ensure business rules are followed to provide accurate reports and analytics.

Consult on, leverage, and train on Prospect Management analytics tools, routinely providing reports and curated lists to individual fundraisers for their portfolio management efforts.
