Company :Highmark HealthJob Description :JOB SUMMARYThis job is responsible for leading major/high profile investigations within Highmark Health (Highmark and Allegheny Health Network) to include threats of physical harm, narcotics, and executive protection. The incumbent will take control of crime scenes and direct uniformed officers as to the actions that need to be taken. Will research, analyze evidence and decisions/recommendations on criminal charges. The incumbent must be skilled in interviewing and interrogations and be skilled in testifying in criminal cases. Must be able analyze complex criminal cases and determine methods to approach the case and at times create a rouse. Will provide investigative support to all executive protection investigations.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Investigate criminal cases through the organization with various investigative techniques including interviewing and interrogations.

Research, analyze information and design and implement methods of investigations. Analyze all forms of criminal activity that will be used to develop the methods of investigation.

Investigate threats to executives and for performing "advance" work investigations in executive security planning.May also be involved in executive protection as needed.

Lead research, analysis and investigations at crime scenes, to include directing officers and staff involved in the efforts.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONRequired

Bachelor's degree in Criminology

Substitutions

6 years relevant and progressive experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree

7 - 10 years in Security

5 - 7 years in Criminal investigations

3 - 5 years of Leading Criminal Investigations
