Safety, Health & Environment Specialist I

AECOM is seeking an entry-level Safety Health & Environmental Scientist for our Pittsburgh, PA office.  The responsibilities of this position include:Environmental testing (asbestos, lead based paint)Conducting site visits in vary weather conditions and environments to document site conditions, equipment, and structures.Preparation of written reports such as: environmental test reports, health, and safety determinations, in accordance with federal, state, local and client requirements.Advising clients on implementing and interpreting regulations as they apply to operations. Conducting research and engaging other subject matter experts as needed.Corresponding with clients, subcontractors, and applicable regulatory agencies.Office tasks may include reviewing and interpreting data, preparing reports and work plans, and developing and implementing remedial strategies.
