Fat Butcher is a whole animal butcher shop that sources animals from local farms. We are a small crew and are looking for another cook to help contribute. We are not looking for a butcher at this time, but there are opportunities to learn butchery that come with experience at this position.
Our food offerings include a lunch menu (https://order.toasttab.com/online/fat-butcher-5151-butler-st) which changes regularly as well as grab and go items that help fill our retail fridges and freezers. We render beef and pork fat and we make bone broth weekly. We bake bread for our sandwiches and create unique soups and sides every week. We are looking for someone who is organized and can work clean. We have a relaxed work environment, because everyone respects each other and the tools. We have a high standard for cleanliness which is imperative when providing customers with high quality food.
