Position:
Pixartprinting, a member of the Vistaprint family, is leader in the digital printing industry, is excited to announce the opening of a new facility in Warrendale, Pittsburgh (PA).
We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining cutting equipment, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to production schedules. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of cutting processes and techniques.
Responsibilities:
Load material onto the Polar cutter and supervise it during the process
Ensure accurate cutting and trimming according to job specifications
Check the quality of the work done and report any errors during the cutting process
Unload the finished product and prepare it for the next stage of production
Ensure proper calibration and setup of the cutter based on specific job requirements
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the cutter to ensure optimal performance
Package the finished product and print the waybill for shipment
Use the management system during the different stages of processing
Requirements:
Previous experience in the role in structured companies
Good knowledge of cutting machinery (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with the use of a PC
Willingness to work shifts
