Handyman / Maintenance Technician – Part-Time to Full-Time (Monroe & Pike Counties)
Growing property management company seeks a reliable, skilled Handyman / Maintenance Technician for part-time work (20 hours per week to start) with the opportunity for long-term growth into a full-time, 40-hour position.
Schedule:
Part-time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Full-time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday once position expands
Flexible scheduling allowed as long as it doesn’t interrupt tenant schedules
Weekend work is permitted to make up hours or handle emergencies, though office staff may not be available for coordination during that time
Pay:
$25/hour (1099 position)
Travel time paid between job sites only
Contractors are responsible for their own fuel, mileage, and vehicle maintenance costs
Coverage Area:
Monroe & Pike Counties, PA (East Stroudsburg, Stroudsburg, Cresco, Tobyhanna, Saylorsburg, Palmerton, Bushkill)
Requirements:
Own tools and pickup truck (or reliable access to one when needed)
Ability to perform small-to-medium repairs, including:
Plumbing, electrical, and carpentry basics
Drywall patching and painting
Fixture installation and replacements
Light exterior work (gutters, railings, doors, etc.)
General property upkeep and preventive maintenance
Must take before and after photos of every job
Dependable, organized, and professional in appearance and communication
