On our grass fed dairy farm, we make whole milk yogurt and kefir. We will soon be making butter as well. To many, our products are the best they have ever had. The things that makes our dairy foods different are the care we give to the cows, the grass diet, and the way we process the milk into the final products. We make healthy, great tasting foods for our community and we are growing!

We are looking for a detail-oriented, independently working, mature individual to process the milk into the final products. If you want to make healthy foods for the regional community and be appreciated for your contributions, this may be the job for you. If you can work without constant, immediate supervision, do basic mathematics, and consistently make recipes following the existing plans, this may be the job for you. If you can lift up to 45 lbs, keep the kitchen clean and orderly, and maintain the required regulatory paperwork correctly, this may be the job for you.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday, approximately six hours a day. Some days may go a bit longer and others will be shorter depending on the product being made, but it should average out to 24 hours per week.

Starting and ending times vary depending on the product being made. Yogurt days and kefir packaging days run from around 7:30am to 1:30pm. Kefir set up days run from around 9:30am to 3pm. We are expanding, so there are opportunities for more earning in the future. There are long periods of waiting while the milk heats and cools during the production process.

The pay is a salary of $400.00 per week with the potential for more as we grow into more production.
