The College of Agricultural Sciences seeks to hire one to two interns (paid) to assist with writing press releases about student activities, etc., for the college. Candidate will assist news staff by gathering background information to complete assigned stories; interviewing faculty, staff, student and alumni sources; writing news releases following Associated Press style; and writing articles for the college's undergraduate student recruiting efforts. Depending on skills, qualifications and interests, other duties may include taking photographs of people and events and assisting with Web/social media content development. Experience or coursework in news and/or feature writing helpful.
