THE POSITIONIf you are looking for a new career in care management or to advance to a supervisory role, this position is for you! Potter County Human Services is seeking an energetic self-motivated individual to become part of our team. Help seniors enjoy the highest level of independence and functioning possible with us!DESCRIPTION OF WORKThe Aging Care Management Supervisor 1 will supervise care managers in the programs of Older Adult Protective Services, Guardianship, Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Decision Insight (PA-MEDI), Family Caregiver Support Program, Grandparent Program, and Consumer Reimbursement Program. This supervisor position will receive and review all reports of need for protective services, prepare the on-call rotation schedule, and train care managers in policies and procedures. Responsibilities also involve arranging, developing, delegating, and evaluating public relations for aging programs. This includes public and inter-agency education as well as developing cooperative working relationships with other agencies. You will also assist the deputy administrator with various reports as needed. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PMor8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Three years of experience in public or private social work and a Bachelor's Degree;or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training including successful completion of 12 semester hours of college level courses in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other related social sciences.
