LINE COOK
We are looking for a professional Line Cook for our very popular high-end, private club. The successful candidate will employ their culinary skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our members' satisfaction and will work with renowned Executive Chef Matthew Wood.
The ideal candidate will be a culinary professional that possess a strong work ethic and has an undeniable passion for their job. Candidates must be organized and self-motivated with strong attention to detail in every phase of high-quality food production and service.
The ideal candidate has / is experienced in;
A full service, high volume, a la carte kitchen
1-2 years of experience
Ability to maintain extremely high food quality
Ability to maintain high standards of workplace sanitation, safety and equipment maintenance
Responsibilities:
Help in the preparation and design of food menus
Using professional techniques in preparation of meats, sauces, frying, grilling including plating and presentation
Communicate effectively with team in a friendly and respectful manner
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Possess a high level of maturity, dependability and punctuality
Open availability for flexible hours; days, nights, late nights, weekends and holidays
Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
Maintain proper rotation of food and dry inventory
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and members
Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
