Medical Receptionist

Description We are in search of a Medical Receptionist to join our team located in WYNNEWOOD, Pennsylvania. This role provides an opportunity to be part of the healthcare industry where you will be interacting with patients, confirming their insurance before procedures and ensuring all their inquiries are resolved. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out process of patients. Handle patient inquiries, providing accurate and timely responses. Schedule appointments and confirm insurance before procedures. Maintain an efficient system for answering and managing inbound calls. Use various software like Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, Eaglesoft, and EHR SYSTEM for various tasks such as billing and maintaining patient records. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of insurance verifications. Responsible for scanning and maintaining electronic medical records (EMR) in the system. Effectively perform clinical trial operations. Create and manage charts and graphs to visually represent patient data. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements Candidate must have proficiency in Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, Eaglesoft, and EHR SYSTEM Ability to accurately answer and manage inbound calls is required Experience with billing functions in a medical setting is essential Familiarity with creating charts and graphs for patient data is necessary Knowledge of Clinical Trial Operations is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for this role Must have the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail are needed Proven experience as a receptionist, especially in a medical setting, is preferred Basic understanding of medical terminology is desirable.
