Join Us in This Exciting Opportunity:inMusic Quality Assurance Testers are part of our Quality Assurance department and report directly to the Quality Assurance Resources Manager. This essential role tests inMusic products before public release to ensure all parts of the product meet quality and reliability standards. You'll learn about the ins and outs of inMusic products and are instrumental in ensuring our customers will have a great experience using our instruments and creative tools. Key Responsibilities:

Test products, or subsystems of products, for conformance to specifications.

Identify, analyze, and document problems found during product and subsystem testing.

Uses applicable tools to verify that equipment is functioning according to specifications.

Compare product or subsystem functionality to templates, test documents, or samples to verify conformance to standards.

Analyze test data, making computations as necessary, to determine test results.

Document testing performed and record test data.

Document product or subsystem defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to developers.

Provide user-level feedback to cross-functional development teams on product usability and functionality.

Notify supervisor and cross-functional development teams of problems found.

Install, maintain, or use software.

Requirements

High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 1+ year of technical work history or related experience preferred

1+ year of technical work history or related experience required

Music technology background preferred

Basic MIDI knowledge, with the ability to read engineering and MIDI specifications required

Windows and macOS systems knowledge required

Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams

Interest in audio production/DJ performance/audio recording equipment preferred

Basic understanding of bug tracking software preferred
