Cost Controller

· Monitor and control daily operational costs in accordance with company policies and budgets.· Prepare and analyze cost reports, variance reports, and budget performance reports.· Review purchasing transactions, inventory movements, and stock consumption.· Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.· Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, and goods received notes.· Monitor food and beverage costs, operational expenses, and departmental spending.· Coordinate with department heads to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.· Prepare monthly closing reports related to cost control and inventory.· Ensure compliance with company financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.· Analyze pricing structures, menu costing, and profit margins where applicable.· Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.· Maintain accurate records of inventory, wastage, and consumption trends.· Assist the Finance Manager and Accountant with financial analysis and reporting.· Monitor slow-moving, expired, or damaged inventory and recommend corrective actions.· Ensure proper system controls and accurate data entry within the ERP or accounting system.· Provide management with timely reports and recommendations to improve profitability and operational performance.· Assist management with ad-hoc finance and operational tasks when required.
