C# Developer

Description We are in search of a C# developer for our client located in Pawtucket, RI. The role involves using .Net technologies, specifically C#, SQL and Visual Basic .Net (VB.NET), to develop, test, and maintain software applications. This role is crucial in meeting business needs and improving system performance.Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain software applications using C#, SQL and Visual Basic .Net (VB.NET) Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to identify software solutions Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages Test and deploy applications and systems Revise, update, refactor and debug code Improve existing software Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical supportNote: While experience with older .Net technologies is a plus, we are open to candidates who are willing to learn and adapt to older tech.Requirements Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proficient in C#-Sharp, SQL, and Visual Basic .Net (VB.NET). Proven experience as a Programmer Analyst in the insurance - casualty industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team goals. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards long-term goals. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Experience with software design and testing. Knowledge of coding languages and frameworks/systems. Understanding of databases and operating systems. Ability to learn new languages and technologies. Attention to detail.
