Medical Receptionist

Description We are offering a role in the healthcare sector located in Providence, Rhode Island. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within our facility. This role involves a variety of tasks including handling phone calls, managing medical records, and maintaining patient information. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Answer and manage incoming calls, including patient inquiries Handle the printing and scanning of medical records and insurance cards Verify and update patient information in the system as needed Check in patients for consultations and procedures and manage their appointments Prepare medical charts for administrative use as required Utilize medical software for various administrative tasks Perform billing functions and manage insurance-related queries Use Microsoft Excel for data entry and management tasks Assist in managing clinical trial operations as needed Maintain professional knowledge of chiropractic practices and procedures. Requirements Proficiency in using medical software for patient data management Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis Experience with billing functions, including insurance claims and patient invoices Ability to create and interpret charts and graphs for medical data visualization Knowledge of chiropractic practices and procedures Experience with clinical trial operations and protocols Familiarity with insurance procedures and claims processes in a medical setting.
