We are a well-established scientific equipment diagnostic and repair company looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and mechanically inclined candidate to join our team. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, have a good understanding of computers, and the confidence and humility to learn new things. Training will be provided on the job.
Types of equipment to be worked on include Microscopes, Automated robots, Incubators/Chambers, Centrifuges, Spectrometers, Evaporators, Cryo Freezers/Refrigeration, and many other types of Lab equipment.
Applicants most suited are tinkerers who like repairing their own things and learning how they work.
Experience with replacing cellphone screens or other assembler type skills are a plus.
This is a "hands-on" position. You will work on a variety of different equipment and have regular opportunities to learn and be creative.
Computer skills and Attention to detail is very important.
Must be a team player and self-motivated.
Full-time position 8:30 to 5:00 Monday through Friday
Must be dependable with dependable means of transportation.
Pay $22.00/Hour plus several hours of overtime a week will be available once you get settled in.
