Certified Personal Trainer
Job Description: Successful applicant will not only be responsible for taking existing clients based on need, but also for soliciting new business and teaching gym members about the benefits of personal training. We’re looking for a motivated individual with sales experience who can help us establish a competitive edge in our fitness center.
Duties Include:
Assume the responsibility of training existing and new clients who are interested in increasing their fitness levels, loosing weight and overall health and wellness.
Talk to members of the gym about their goals and introduce them to our personal training packages.
Lead group fitness classes when necessary
Advise clients about important safety concerns and demonstrate exercises or maneuvers as needed.
Requirements:
Personal training or group training certification required
Must have current, valid CPR and AED certifications
Sales experience a plus
Must be available to work a flexible schedule to include holidays and weekends
Excellent customer service skills are required.
Ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients
Understanding of basic point of sales and cash handling procedures.
Basic computer skills
Ability to multi-task
Compliance with all policies and procedures.
