PKL Management LLC is a residential and multifamily construction company seeing a Carpenter/Working Lead. All candidates must have +10 years of carpentry experience.
Job Responsibilities:
● Supervise and lead a crew of a team of 3-4 (journeyman, apprentice and laborer).Correcting others work as required.
● Have the general ability to perform and oversee:
Rough Carpentry: general rough framing, window installation and siding.
Finish Carpentry: installation of fixtures and millwork for windows, doors, staircases cabinets, tile,
hang/tape drywall.
● Coordinate subcontractor work as needed.
● Provide weekly 1-2 week look ahead schedule.
● Provide material lists schedule the transport of site materials and equipment to various projects.
Required Skills:
● Have working knowledge and understanding of all carpentry related tools, both power and hand. Must have hand tools.
● Ability read and interpret architectural plans and blueprints accurately. Have the ability to use lasers for layout.
● Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as outstanding problem-solving skills.
● Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
● . OSHA 10 required.
● Arial Lift Certification (optional must be willing to take class at united rentals if the candidate does not have the certification)
● Be physically able to perform various job site tasks as well as lifting equipment.
● Ability to use applications on an iPad
Job Requirements:
● Must be willing to travel to jobsites in RI and Southeastern Connecticut
● Typical hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm there is the option to work 7:00am to 5:30 Monday to Friday.
