We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable.Position Summary The Lead Director, Pharmacy Health Equity will be deeply engaged in designing, developing, and leading the implementation of health equity strategic initiatives for Retail Pharmacy grounded in public and population health methodologies.This role will be responsible for defining and evolving the retail pharmacy health equity roadmap to ensure that we are meeting our enterprise health equity goals and coordinating with key partners to enhance our current programs. This role combines both strategy and execution, as it is responsible for defining and executing upon a multi-year strategic vision and roadmap and operationalizing existing and new business concepts and initiatives. Additionally, you will manage a team and work cross-functionally across Retail Pharmacy Growth and Enterprise Health Equity teams to enhance retail programs and capabilities that close equity gaps and meet Enterprise Hearts and Minds goals.Responsibilities:

Leading a cross-functional team and driving work to assess existing programs and implementing solutions to enhance existing products and capabilities within the pharmacy business.

Overseeing product development, product roadmap, and business analytics for pharmacy health equity initiatives

Serving as the expert in health equity in pharmacy product development and be able to inject equity-forward approaches into new and existing roadmaps to maximize impact.

Engaging and aligning with partners, stakeholders, and communities to ensure the success of the product strategy and integration with enterprise/business unit strategic objectives.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years’ experience in consulting, think tank, or other healthcare organization (provider or payor network, healthcare technology startup, policy organization).

Experience in healthcare services.

Experience leading in product development for healthcare.

Experience with strategy and application of solutions for community and social impact.

Experience leading a team.

Demonstrated Leadership and business strategy skills.

Background in Quality improvement.

Background in population health management.

Ability to travel up to 10% .

Preferred Qualifications:

8+ years of prior experience in consulting, think tank, or other healthcare organization (provider or payor network, healthcare technology startup, policy organization).

Demonstrated success in partnering on and applying social and community impact methodologies.

Demonstrated success in entre- and intra-perineurial environments.

Familiarity with public health, population health, social impact, community-based partnerships, innovation, and experiment design.

Knowledge of health equity, multicultural health, and social determinants of health.

Experience in pharmacy.

Master’s Degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MPH, MA).

Education

Bachelor’s degree.

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,500.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
