Whether taking orders, handling cash, or assisting in food prep, you’ll be an essential part of delivering top-tier service in a fast-paced environment and will ensure every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return.

Duties

Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.

Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

Manage cash handling and POS transactions by accurately processing orders and payments.

Monitor guest consumption responsibly, recognizing signs of intoxication and taking appropriate actions to ensure safety.

Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure all food orders meet quality standards.

Uphold all food handling procedures and safety regulations related to the food industry and hospitality standards.

Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining high-quality service.

Promote sales by recommending specialty drinks or promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.

Skills

Familiarity with POS systems.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism under pressure.

Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and alcohol serving regulations.

Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environment.

Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and retail math calculations related to sales transactions.

Exceptional communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with team members across various service areas.

Experience in a small neighborhood bar and grill is preferred but not required.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.

Job Type: Part-time

Projected Total Compensation: $100.00 - $400.00 per day

Expected hours: 16 – 34 per week
