Job Description - Houseman/Bellman
Description: The Houseman/Bellman Position is position that demands physical activity. This position works directly with the Housekeeping and Front Desk Departments.
Requirements:
o Must be able to lift 50 pounds
o Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
o Must be able to tolerate warm temperature in the excess of 90 degrees.
o Sharp eye for detail in regards to cleanliness and organization
o The ability to accomplish your duties without direct supervision.
o Must have a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities:
o Greet guests in person and offer assistance with luggage
o Stock Housekeeping closets with Linen and supplies each day
o Put away deliveries in appropriate areas multiple times a week
o Responsible for picking up dirty linen from all floors during and after housekeeping service
o This position is required to drive the company van with dirty laundry to an offsite location and retrieve clean linen in the evening
o Hosting and serving our daily wine and hors d'oeuvors hour
The Houseman/Bellman position reports to the Innkeeper and Asst. Innkeepers.
