About the Position
We Care for Elders and More is seeking a compassionate, dependable Non-Medical In-Home Care Aide to provide extensive assistance to a client residing within an assisted living facility. The ideal candidate is patient, trustworthy, and committed to delivering high-quality personal care and support that enhances the client’s daily living and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
The Care Aide will assist the client with non-medical, daily living needs, including:
Extensive hands-on support with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
Mobility support, including transfers and ambulation assistance
Meal reminders and assistance with eating, as needed
Light housekeeping tasks related to the client’s room/living space
Companionship, engagement, and emotional support
Toileting and incontinence care
Monitoring for safety and communicating concerns to supervisor
Coordination with facility staff to maintain continuity of care
Maintaining documentation of services provided (per agency standards)
Qualifications
Experience in caregiving, home care, or assisted living preferred
Ability to provide extensive physical assistance
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must pass background check and required screenings
