We are a North Charleston based fire and sprinkler contractor, who is seeking a skilled and dedicated Sprinkler Fitter/Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Installation and Repair: You’ll be responsible for installing and repairing Commercial, Residential, and Industrial Fire Sprinkler Systems and Equipment. Your expertise will ensure the safety of our clients and their properties.

Inspections and Compliance: Conduct NFPA 25 and NFPA 20 inspections on various Sprinkler Systems and Fire Pumps.

Familiarity with blueprints and adherence to NFPA 13, NFPA 20, and NFPA 25 standards and local codes are essential.

Customer Relations: Develop positive relationships with our valued customers, general contractors, and end-users. Effective communication is key as you assess customer needs and recommend necessary repairs.

Service Excellence: Maintain service vehicles, tools, and equipment. Complete timecards and service tickets promptly. Be prepared for occasional overtime, alternate shifts, and weekend work to meet customer requirements.

Emergency Support: Participate in on-call duties, providing 24-hour emergency service support.

WHAT SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU NEED?

Minimum of 3 yrs’ experience in inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing fire pumps, jockey pumps, and associated controllers.

Proficiency in Wet Pipe, Dry Pipe, Pre-Action, and Deluge Systems.

Must be able to lift and carry tools and equipment weighing over 50 lbs.

Work effectively with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

NICET Certification (preferred)

Backflow Certification (preferred)
