Responsibilities:
Assist experienced locksmiths in installing, repairing, and servicing locks and security systems.
Learn and apply techniques for key cutting, re-keying locks, and duplicating keys.
Provide support during emergency lockout situations, gaining practical experience in resolving customer issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Prior experience in locksmithing, key making, or a related field is highly preferred.
Basic knowledge of locksmith tools and techniques is advantageous.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects (e.g., door locks, toolboxes).
