In ActionAs the Location and Resource Planning Specialist for Young Plants at Syngenta, you'll optimize production planning across internal and external sites. You'll create and manage season-level plans, balancing quality and cost efficiency. Your role involves leading kick-offs and evaluations, ensuring accurate master data, and providing crucial M2 planning updates to production teams. Although you will work from an office space mainly, you will spend time in the greenhouses as well to understand the details and experience challenges first hand.The ChallengeYour mission is to create the most efficient growing resource plans for young plant production. You'll collaborate with green teams and production departments to optimize greenhouse space utilization. You'll monitor demand accuracy, coordinate day to day stock movements, and maintain planning master data across multiple systems. Mainly during peak seasons, you'll support short-term planning operations. Your analytical skills will be crucial in reporting KPIs and improving processes.
