GENERAL PURPOSE:The Network Strategy Analyst will be responsible for maintaining supply chain modeling to support the growth strategy of the Ross distribution and transportation network. He/she will develop, maintain, and progressively improve the Company’s data set supporting supply chain activities. The Analyst will plan and manage data supporting requirements for supply chain activities, including opening new distribution centers, retro fitting and scaling existing facilities, and other capabilities to optimize the overall supply chain (including transportation). He/she will drive the weekly Supply Chain Program Status Update including material development and presentation.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Managing daily/weekly/monthly reporting to monitor capacity in each distribution center and to identify trends impacting future capacity. Includes other data analysis such as hotel capacity, month end unit reconciliations, etc.

Drive the analytics/modeling to support ongoing strategic planning of the processing and storage functions to meet the changing business needs of Ross. Includes defining and formulating the analyses and/or modeling required to support decision-making.

Assist Engineering partners with tracking Distribution Center performance against established strategic goals. Assist with forecasting and tracking benefits of various engineering initiatives

Working with Supply Chain PMs to collect and consolidate weekly status updates to be shared with the leadership team. Working with NI leadership to develop, maintain and present weekly NI Program Update materials.

Working with distribution center finance team to plan, monitor, and revise long term production and financial activities.

Working with NI project managers to provide daily/weekly/monthly capital and project management support.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

A keen analytical thinker with a mathematical and statistical aptitude, able to work through and present logistical and financial based analyses

A research oriented individual with previous experience analyzing data using methods such as data mining, data modeling or cost vs. benefit analysis

Must be expert with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and beginner to intermediate in Access preferred

Minimum of 1-2 years of progressive experience in supply chain consulting, distribution or transportation reporting roles or related experience.

Experience with labor and financial management applications such as PeopleSoft and Kronos a plus.

Experience with Network Optimization tools such as CAPS, i2, or Manugistics network a plus.

A detail oriented professional, who is thorough and circumspect in planning and reporting.

A high energy, self -motivated individual, who can be successful in a fast paced environment.
