Laboratory Analyst I (Asbestos/PLM) – Eurofins Environment Testing – Fort Mill, SC

Eurofins CEI, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Analyst in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The Analyst will use polarized light microscopes (PLM) for asbestos analysis. PLM Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Perform sample login as neededExamine bulk samples under stereoscope and make visual observationsPrep samples for PLM (polarized light microscopy) examination according to regulationsRecord all optical properties per NVLAP requirementsProvide asbestos identification and quantificationPerform QC analysis and review reportsConducts all activities in a safe and efficient mannerPerforms other duties as assignedThe ideal candidate would possess:Demonstrates and promotes the company visionRegular attendance and punctualityApplies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriateStrong computer, scientific, organizational and problem-solving skillsEffective communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesHandle moderate stress
