Description We are in the search for a diligent HR Generalist in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of functions within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), including maintaining information in the benefit module, ensuring efficiency between benefits and payroll, and providing system analysis. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Facilitate the benefits portion of the new hire orientation, guiding employees through onboarding and benefits enrollment in HRIS. Handle the processing of enrollments for all benefits, ensuring all required supporting documentation is obtained, and entering premium deductions into the HRIS. Administer the Family Medical Leave program and manage the Wellbeing Program. Perform COBRA administration including tracking, sending COBRA notifications, and collecting premiums. Coordinate programs related to employee benefits, wellness, and onboarding. Configure new benefit plans, rate changes, and maintain current plan and employee eligibility changes. Process benefit vendor payments which includes auditing information, creating purchase orders, and tracking expenses for comparison to the annual budget. Provide timely responses and resolution to all requests and inquiries. Process benefit changes due to life-qualifying events. Perform other HR and related assigned duties.Requirements Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now Knowledgeable in Benefit Functions, including Benefits Administration and Benefits Coordination Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Understanding of compliance regulations within the Government sector Experience in handling Employee Relations Familiarity with FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) regulations and procedures Ability to create, manage and update Benefit Packages Experience in managing an Employee Benefit Program Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field is preferred Prior experience in a similar role in the Government sector would be advantageous.
