Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in North Charleston, South Carolina, United States. This role involves various responsibilities related to accounting and bookkeeping, with a particular emphasis on the use of QuickBooks.Responsibilities: Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting and bookkeeping tasks Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) efficiently Process and enter invoices accurately Carry out invoice processing tasks in a timely manner Perform bank account reconciliation and bank reconciliations regularly Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts Maintain accurate customer credit records Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency. Requirements Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential for managing accounting functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must Ability to efficiently process invoices and maintain accurate records Skill in entering invoices into the system to ensure timely payments Familiarity with bank account reconciliation procedures to maintain financial accuracy Experience in performing bank reconciliations to verify the company's records with bank statements Strong knowledge of invoice processing to ensure all invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
