Assistant Accountant

Working in the Salter Brothers Accor Portfolio Hub based out of Ibis Styles Sydney Central, you will be responsible for assisting the Financial Controller and Hotel Accountant in the daily operation of the Finance department. With an AP focus, you will provide accurate, relevant and timely support in all areas. This is an exciting opportunity for someone seeking a new challenge in a dynamic environment. Your duties will include: Preparing daily revenue reportsVerifying invoices for accuracy and authorisationsMaintaining and updating vendor informationPreparing payment runs Reconciling suppliers’ statement of account and follow-up for any missing invoices.Active involvement in the month end process, including carrying out reconciliations Preparing accrual journals
