Description Robert Half currently has an opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Sioux Falls, South Dakota area and will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire position. The Accounts Payable Clerk position will require to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.What you get to do every single day
Carry out additional tasks as assigned
Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
Operate full-cycle A/P
Provide support during internal and external audits
Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies Requirements - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Weekly Account Payable experience desired
Coding Invoices experience preferred
Bank reconciliations experience preferred
Deep understanding of Enter Invoices
Be detailed, flexible, and organized
Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
