Description:A TEKsystems client is looking to build out a couple of SDET's to their teams who have worked with the development team and can build automation scripts and frameworks. They will primarily be doing manual testing and moving into the direction of automation. This person must have good communication skills, be able to help with knowledge transfer and a good collaborator. Current tool set is Playwright (fine if someone comes from more of a Selenium background with it being a browser-based tool) and Apache JMeter. Agile shop - someone who is familiar with Agile, Scrum, Kanban and Jira is preferred.Skills:Automation, Java, Test automation, manual testingAdditional Skills:This individual needs to be familiar with cloud infrastructure and starting out will be doing 80% manual testing versus 20% automation but as they're building it out will move more towards automation. Any experience doing device or hardware testing, buildout of solutions internal are things they’ll need to support if working from home.
Experience building automation frameworks
Must be proficient with Java, JavaScript and Python
Must be familiar with browser developer tools, SOAP, REST, React and Angular.
Healthcare experience preferred
AWS experience from a development perspective
Develop and maintain the automated test harness using known frameworks.
Create the core test harness.
Create the setup and tear-down of the environments.
Integrate the test suites in the existing CI/CD pipelines.
Create and update test cases based on the different test scenarios.
Create new test cases leveraging the test harness and adding additional setup and tear downs when necessary.
Convert acceptance criteria into automated tests.
Day-to-day review the automated test failures
