Project Quality Specialist

Job Description

As a Project quality specialist, you will develop technical specifications and quality plans for contracts and projects.

Your role will include:

• Support development and implementation of a quality surveillance plans
• Prepare and maintain quality management documentation
• Establish and maintain the processes needed for the Quality Management System
• Manage external quality assurance and control service providers and provide transparent reporting of the performance of the Quality Management System
• Monitor any variations to contracts and advise pertinent stakeholders on ramifications

This role is at our Johannesburg Corporate Office, at a Band 6 level reporting to the Head of SIB Execution.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Quality Management qualification

• 10 years' experience as an engineer in Refineries and Separation or similar experience in any process environment
• Experience as a specialist in project and engineering quality control assurance
• Experience in the application of quality Anglo American and other specifications related to processes
• Construction / Engineering Project Management environment
• Construction management experience will be advantageous
