Description We are in the process of hiring a Sales Operations Assistant positioned in Brentwood, Tennessee, 37027, United States. The chosen candidate will be a crucial part of our team in the insurance industry, providing essential support to our Home Office Sales Operations Manager and Field Agency Sales Office Manager. This role is a contract-based position with the potential to extend where the individual will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including but not limited to office organization, materials preparation for meetings, and acting as a liaison between various departments.Responsibilities: Assisting in the daily operations of the office, including organizing the workspace and ordering necessary supplies. Preparing materials for meetings and ensuring all necessary documents are ready and available. Assisting new agents with online contracting processes and procedures. Aiding in mailings and lead distribution, ensuring all communications are sent out in a timely and efficient manner. Acting as a liaison between the Field Manager and Home Office departments, facilitating clear and effective communication. Handling incoming phone calls and processing mail, ensuring all communications are responded to in a timely fashion. Assisting in recruitment efforts, providing support throughout the hiring process. Gathering, entering, and disclosing information in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Utilizing various software and tools such as CRM, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, About Time, Cash Activity, Closing Processes, Complaint Handling, and C-Suite Liaison. Managing change effectively and demonstrating strong communication, customer focus, financial acumen, innovation, teamwork, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. This role does not require any travel for training or seminars and involves office work that is sedentary and involves extensive reading and computer use. The successful candidate must be capable of reviewing, analyzing data and figures, and regularly communicating via in-person meetings, video conferencing, electronically (including email), or by phoneRequirements Proficiency in CRM tools is essential for managing customer relationships and tracking sales activities. Nice to have experience in working with the C-Suite to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Experience in cash activity management to handle monetary transactions and maintain financial records. Understanding of closing processes to finalize sales successfully. Ability to handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Excellent liaison skills to facilitate communication between different departments and stakeholders. Knowledge of Microsoft Word for creating documents, reports, and sales proposals. Understands the importance of confidentiality and can handle sensitive information with discretion.
