This position requires strong knowledge in WebSphere Commerce, IBM HTTP Server and Solr administration.Responsibilities
Performs installation, administration, configuration, and tuning of software applications.
Creates and maintains build and deployment processes, scripts, and jobs.
Performs maintenance, monitoring of software systems, including capacity planning, operational services, and other administrative efforts.
Plans and implements enhancements, upgrades, and patches.
Participates in 24x7 on call rotations.
Designs and implements redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and data archiving to ensure effective protection and integrity of data assets.
Participates in the execution of testing as part of the Quality Assurance process.
Documents processes and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field and 5-9 years of experience
3+ years of experience administering WebSphere Commerce Suite
Experience setting up and supporting IBM WebSphere Application Servers in clustered environments
Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology
Certified IBM WebSphere Commerce Administrator is preferred.
