Human Resources (HR) Assistant

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team within the Food & Food Processing industry, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role involves a variety of administrative duties to support our Human Resources department. Responsibilities: Assisting in the process of onboarding new employees, which includes entering employee details into the system Providing support in handling payroll operations using tools like Kronos & ADP Creating and maintaining employee records, ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality Generating various reports related to HR activities as required Addressing employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures Assisting in the maintenance of employee files and records Demonstrating proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office 365 Enterprise for various administrative tasks Upholding a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times Providing general administrative support to the HR department as needed. Requirements Minimum of one year experience in a Human Resources role, preferably within the Food & Food Processing industry Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and Microsoft 365 Enterprise Familiarity with ADP - Payroll and Kronos Timekeeping System Proven ability to create comprehensive reports Experience in handling employee relations and onboarding processes Solid understanding of maintaining confidentiality in all HR matters Demonstrated skills in filing and organization of employee records.
