Job Description:
Responsible for conceptualizing the initial design approach for a major phase of a large project and responsibility for the engineering work on a routine project
Responsible for the design and review of deliverables associated with a high voltage substation
Single line diagrams, control house layouts, panel front views, elementary and/or schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, nameplate drawings, bills of materials, and cable schedules, as well as construction turnover documentation
Evaluates, selects and applies engineering principles and practices relevant to the project requirements
Performs technical and coordination checking of deliverables and other project documents
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant specialization
3-4 years of design experience and high voltage knowledge (161kV-500kV levels)
Professional Engineer License preferred/ ability to obtain PE License
