East Chattanooga Lumber, a locally owned business in operation since 1940 seeks an experienced door shop assembler to assist in the building of interior pre-hung door units. Full time position Monday-Friday, 7:30a – 5:00p. Health benefits, 401K w/ match, paid vacations & holidays.
Job Duties Include:
From a work order accurately pull and stage material for the order
Operate all equipment including routers, jamb machine, nail guns and saws
Cutting and fastening jambs and casings
Lift and load finished materials on carts and staging in warehouse
Assisting walk in customers with order picking and loading
Assisting in material receiving
Requirements:
Reading a tape measure and working with power/air tools and door machinery
Ability to do repetitious work with long periods of standing.
Work is performed in a warehouse with varying temperatures.
Standing, bending, twisting and lifting on a frequent basis
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Work as part of a team
