Maintenance Technician II is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment
They will also perform mechanical and electrical work under the general supervision of a Maintenance Technician III
In addition, employees in this classification will support and guide employees classified as Maintenance Technician I
Maintenance Technician II's will have working knowledge and ability to perform all tasks as specified within the Maintenance Technician I description in addition to those specified within this description
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown
Inspect mechanical and electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 30lbs
standing for 10 hours at one time
working weekends
