We are seeking a skilled Temporary Electrician with expertise in measuring, cutting, assembling, installing and bending various types of electrical conduit. This will be a temporary position that would last 2-3 months. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about ensuring electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and power tools to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
Work safely by adhering to OSHA standards and local electrical codes to prevent accidents or hazards.
Assist journeyman / foremen electricians when necessary and needed
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with an understanding of electrical systems.
Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical installations.
Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers), power tools (e.g., drills), and testing equipment such as ohmmeters and ammeters.
Knowledge of low voltage wiring systems as well as high voltage safety protocols aligned with NEC standards.
Construction site experience demonstrating the ability to work safely in dynamic environments.
Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting schematics for accurate installation or repair work.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail for troubleshooting electrical issues effectively.
