Qualifications:
12 months experience driving a Box Truck within the last 3 years
Valid Driver's License, with a current DOT medical card
Class A CDL or Class B License is optional, not required
21 years of age or older
Pass a road test
Acceptable driving record per policy
Acceptable responses to previous Employment Verifications
Pass a background check, and pre-employment tests
Safe driving record and continuous dedication to upholding high safety standards
Responsibilities:
Safely drive a commercial motor vehicle (Box Truck)
Safely Operate a Lift Gate
Load and Unload freight at Distribution Centers and at assigned route locations
Value your safety, always comply with safety/operating policies and procedures
Work well independently, with customers, and in a team setting
Value a positive and respectful work environment
Understand that delivering to our customers on-time keeps our company viable
Complete deliveries on schedule and interface with customers effectively
Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
Work cooperatively and productively with supervisors and other associates to complete tasks
Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner
Perform and document pre and post trip inspections and complete all necessary paperwork
All other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Deliver excellent customer service
Able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs. for touch freight positions
Operate in a constant state of alertness, and safe manner
Safely get in and out of the cab on your own
Execute on-time pickup and deliveries
Adhere to safety and quality standards on and off the road
Interact in a positive and a professional manner with general public while delivering products to locations
Be a positive, team player with a commitment to deliver to our customers promise, doing Whatever It Takes!
