Help Desk Analyst I

Description Robert Half Technology is seeking a Help Desk Analyst for a client located in Lebanon, Tennessee. This role focuses on providing support for our POS update project on iPads. This is a temporary role and requires skills in MS Windows 10 and Computer Imaging. Responsibilities: Provide Tier II help desk support for our POS update project on iPads. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the POS system. Maintain a thorough understanding of MS Windows 10 to provide effective technical support. Use computer imaging techniques to manage and troubleshoot our devices. Coordinate with the IT team to ensure smooth operation of the POS system. Work closely with other team members to update and maintain the POS system. Understand the unique needs of the restaurant and catering industry to provide effective technical support. Ensure all customer service standards are met while providing technical support. Keep track of the technical issues and their resolutions for future reference. Continually update skills and knowledge to keep up with the latest trends and advancements in the field of IT support.Requirements Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for candidates who have completed a relevant degree or certification program Demonstrated proficiency in MS Windows 10 is required Experience with computer imaging is necessary Prior experience in a help desk or customer service role within the restaurant and catering industry would be advantageous Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues are essential Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users Must be capable of working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, often dealing with multiple issues simultaneously The ability to work independently as well as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and respect for confidentiality Knowledge of restaurant and catering industry-specific software and systems would be beneficial.
