Job Summary:Responsible for operating forklift in warehouse observing all safety regulations and ensuring all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Schedules and confirms all receiving and shipping for site. Provides administrative support for this area including the communication, paperwork and system data entry. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for verifying packing slips against freight bills and checking both against purchase orders
Responsible for verifying forklift operators’ put-up sheets against purchase orders
Ensure receiving appointments are scheduled to maximize efficiency
Ensure that all receiving paperwork entered into the computer system
Enter all warehouse inventory transfers into the computer system
Update open stock transfers
Verify stock transfers
Enter backorder purchase orders into computer system
Update purchase order receiving schedule in AS400 for buyers and their assistants
Enter all receiving corrections
Verify all receiving corrections through buyer, assistant and receiver
Inform buyer and assistant of no show deliveries, shortages and overages
