Job SummaryThis position will be responsible for promoting and selling Bard products in his/her assigned territory. The main purpose of this position is to increase sales by strengthening relationships with existing customers while simultaneously developing new business opportunities. This person must also have excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information effectively to both physicians and nurses. Travel Requirements: >50%Responsibilities

Manage all accounts within territory by building and maintaining customer relationships through regular visits and phone calls.

Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions by providing clinical support, product demonstrations, and educational programs.

Organize and conduct meetings and conferences for customers and BD representatives.

Achieve financial objectives by maximizing sales within territory through effective pricing strategies and promotional activities.

Gather market intelligence and competitive data on a continuous basis to stay abreast of changes in the marketplace.

Provide feedback to marketing department regarding customer needs and preferences.

Facilitate the exchange of ideas between customers and marketing department.

Plan and execute sales campaigns to promote new products or services.

Develop strategic plans for expanding market share and increasing profitability.

Coordinate special events such as seminars, trade shows, and conventions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum three years of relevant experience required.

Strong interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Highly organized individual who can work independently but also thrives in a team environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued license driver’s license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD’s auto safety standards’.

Willingness to travel up to 75%.
