Bookkeeper

Description Robert Half permanent Engagement Professionals Division is currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage all financial transactions and ensure that our business’s financial records are accurate. The ideal candidate is well-versed in preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, managing invoices, and executing payroll tasks. Responsibilities: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions on a daily basis. Manage accounts payable and receivable. Conduct monthly reconciliations of every bank account. Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets. Prepare and process payroll and taxes. Coordinate with the accountant to prepare tax returns annually. Maintain an orderly filing system of financial documents. Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures. Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Proven bookkeeping experience with strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero. Detail-oriented with strong numerical skills. Strong organizational and data management skills. Solid understanding of business bookkeeping procedures. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
