SummaryYou will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MIL) in the My Navy Career Center (MNCC) Transactional Support Center (TSC), Navy Pay and Personnel Support Center (NPPSC) of PERS SUPPORT DET MEMPHIS.ResponsibilitiesYou will use military pay systems (e.g., Navy Standard Integration Processing System [NSIPS], Master Military Pay Account [MMPA], Defense MILPAY [DMO], Officer Personnel Information System [OPINS], or similar systems) to process military pay actions.You will use a military pay system to establish and maintain pay accounts.You will administer on-the-job training to new employees on established procedures and practices.You will advise decision makers on methods for improving administrative support systems (e.g., communications, directives, contractor access, training, payroll, accountable property, suspense control, files management, records management).You will clarify Pay/Personnel Administrative Support System (PASS) guidance for managers.RequirementsConditions of EmploymentQualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Verifies pay and personnel system events are correctly prepared and processed within various legacy personnel systems; 2) Reviews pay and personnel reports to assess accuracy and timelines rates; and 3) Implements process solutions to address gaps in accuracy, productivity or timelines.
