Full Time/ Direct Hire

Hybrid: Hendersonville, TN

We are a leading company specializing in the design, construction, and management of innovative zip lines, aerial adventure parks, amusement rides and an ever-growing list of products in these markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage full life cycle product development from concept to market release.

Design and create schematics and drawings for new circuits and motor control strategies.

Implement DFM and Six Sigma methodologies.

Ensure safety standards (SIL) are met while balancing battery life, uptime, and manufacturing costs.

Troubleshoot and solve problems related to product development.

Interface with external vendors to communicate design requirements and ensure part and subsystem accuracy.

Write and implement quality control standards for parts and assemblies.

Perform technical writing tasks including schematic design, operational flowcharting, test plans, verification reports, and user documentation.

Evaluate new technologies, products, and materials.

Translate technical information for senior management, staff, and clients.

Proficiently use Solidworks Electrical or similar design software.

Manage project budgets and timelines using Microsoft Project or similar software.

Lead and manage multiple projects and team members simultaneously.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university and 3-5+ years of professional experience, or 10+ years of professional experience in a related role.

Expertise in motor controls and/or battery-supplied drive systems.

Experience with ISO or ASTM quality control procedures, risk analysis, and product design optimization.

Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Advanced knowledge of GD&T and design for manufacturability.

Proficiency in Solidworks Electrical or similar software.

Strong project management skills and experience managing large projects with multiple team members.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to operate independently and creatively.

Preferred Skills:

Hands-on experience with engineering development and testing.

Familiarity with CNC controls and G-code.

Knowledge of ASTM F24 guidelines and CE (EN 341) standards for amusement equipment and fall arrest devices.

Engineering management experience, including mentoring and guiding multi-thread development projects.

Experience in an engineering sales role or supporting sales and marketing departments.

Understanding of economic principles, market analysis, and cost forecasting.

Advanced fabrication skills, including welding and machining.

Compensation & Benefits:

Hybrid work schedule (performance depending). Generally starting with at least 4 days in office and never less than 3. Office is located in Hendersonville, TN.
