Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/.The Logistics Director is a critical leader with a direct impact on end-to-end supply chain performance, enabling profitable sales growth while ensuring reliable, cost-effective, and compliant distribution, transportation, and export operations for the MedTech Segment and its Business Units.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for a $100MM Distribution, Transportation, and Export operational budget and investment portfolio; overseeing financial planning, cost improvement, capital, and expenses management.

Drive the MedTech WPB/CLC Distribution, Transportation, and Export Strategy, including network optimization, capabilities, and systems roadmap.

Implement strategic investments and process improvements to support significant business model changes and new product introductions.

Manage transportation provider relationships, including contract negotiation, financials, and performance.

Oversee supplier relationship management with carriers, including Top-to-Top meetings, quarterly business reviews, and monthly updates.

Manage distribution, transportation, and export metrics to ensure service excellence is a competitive advantage for domestic and international customers.

Oversee daily operations related to quality, including audit management, compliance, health and safety, facilities, procurement, and inventory management.

Achieve site, department, and Business Unit objectives related to customer service, quality, safety, productivity, and cost.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement to deliver agile operations, service enhancements, flexibility, innovation, and cost reduction.

Build and sustain a diverse, high-performance team with strong bench strength and mission focus.

Coach and mentor future leaders.

Ensure staff are trained and equipped to meet operational demands, maintain compliance, and respond effectively to logistics challenges and changes.

QualificationsEducation:

A BS/BA in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering is required.

Experience and Skills:Required:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility, managing multi-site networks, transportation, international logistics, and/or end-to-end supply chain operations.

5+ years of people management and leadership experience.

Direct roles experience across logistics networks (distribution and transportation).

Previous experience managing performance, contracts, and financials with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and/or carriers.

Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Ability to handle complexity and use a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a proven record of using data analytics and Lean solutions.

Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality and process improvement.

Strong business and financial acumen, with experience managing businesses or capital investment programs, including implications to P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.

Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain diverse supply chain talent and lead high-performance teams.

Preferred:

MBA or equivalent.

Diverse industry experience across MedTech, FMCG, or Electronics.

Exposure to global supply chain environments in previous roles.

Ability to translate complex topics into simple, workable solutions.

Consistent track record of influencing and collaborating to achieve desired results.

High level of personal initiative and the ability to function autonomously with confidence.

Experience or certification in Lean, Six Sigma.

Strong understanding of operational analysis, project management, and digital solutions.

Experience in a dynamic supply chain environment with complex product requirements and regulations.

Other:

The anticipated base salary range is $146,000- $251,850

This position is 100% remote

Requires up to 50% travel domestically
