We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsResponsible for the enterprise product implementation and support for HCA Healthcare Case Management Services. Responsible for partnering with developers, technicians, analysts, and business process experts on strategic programs, projects, and activities to support the technology roadmap. Develops positive relationships with business and technology stakeholders. Manages multiple development projects at a time independently or part of a larger team. Ensures repeatable processes are documented and adheres to HCA Healthcare design and development standards. Provides on call production support as needed to support the Case Management services teams. May require travel to complete project work. Coaches, mentors and develops junior team members on HCA Healthcare software engineer standards.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESDuties Include, but are not limited toDefine product strategy, conduct user interviews & industry research to enhance or create new products in support of the case management services organizationEnsure quality in the definition and development of product software specifications utilizing best practices and processesResponsible for the full life-cycle process from design to development, testing, product release and maintenance.Responsible for the development and utilization of metrics to measure productivity and effective operational processes.Responsible creation of a personal development plan focused on leadership and technical acumen.May be required to manage vendor team members as part of project work.Present to senior management project-related information (e.g., project proposals, plans, updates, issues, and recommendations).Assist in implementing and refining a successful product development process, including identification of key decision points, decision-making matrices highlighting risks/benefits associated with critical decision options, and application of appropriate portfolio management principlesTECHNICAL QUALIFIACTIONSRequired QualificationsDemonstrated success in leading a large enterprise application deployment experience from design through supportAbility to translate business requirements into technical designs, determining measures of success including patient and end user experienceTechnical product owner experience including product roadmaps, technical design & implementation plansDriving results through change with direct and indirect reporting structuresStrong communication, executive presence and strategic thinkingPrevious ownership of a production support teamCreation of solution proposals including financials and cost benefit analysisExperience troubleshooting end user access and data issues in large corporate environmentAbility to work with non-technical end users to resolve issues through in person, phone, email or web conferenceDesired QualificationsPrevious direct people leader experienceClinical case management—implementation of a patient medical record product or supporting products in the clinical workflowLeading large, multi-functional teams with a mix of employee, vendor partner and contract resourcesPrevious experience in employee engagement, professional developmentWhat qualifications you will need:EDUCATIONBachelor ‘s Degree in Computer Science or Information Management - PreferredRELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE7 or more yearsPHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS20% travel required as requested to meet business needsHCA Healthcare has been recognized as one of the World's Most Ethical Companies® by the Ethisphere Institute more than ten times.
